Aroma is a very pleasant sweet lemon. There is also some kinds of spice, but its slightly sweet and citric. Really nice. The flavor is equally nicely balanced. I’m really enjoying this blond. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2008 From Beers of the World. Serviceable, drinkable pale. Pours foaming white head on yellow golden. Above average carbonation that numbs the tongue somewhat, even much later. Neutral to maltish aroma. Bitter more than malty taste. gerardoluna (195), Mexico

[Nouse] The smell is grainy, bready, with a hint of lemon...
[Mouth] Good balance. The taste is bready, yeasty. In deep a little fruit and orange, The alcohol gives it an unusual felling for the style. Very dry and poor body

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 17, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF. Golden brown with good white head. Huge bready malt with lots of toffee and burnt sugar. Odd milky notes. Almost diacetyl in finish but I’ll call it caramel. Not great and not nearly enough hoppage. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2008 12oz brown bottle from the Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours an amber-yellow clear body with a half inch of off-white head that slowly dissipates. Smells biscuity with some diacetyl/butterscotch. Tastes like caramel and biscuit, with husky and butterscotchy notes toward the finish. Overall flavor is somewhat muted. Light in body with moderate carbonation. Very drinkable, a solid example for the style. oh6gdx (9008), Vasa, Finland
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 8, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is cookies, caramel malts and a bit sugary. Flavour is quite much the same along with some doughy and grassy hints. Nik925 (305), California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Odd. Something is really off with this one. Bitter and not hoppy at all. Taste is muddy. Balanced for what it is, but end is bitter. Nothing special or worth drinking again.
