Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, old malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, very dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (050808)

Aug 8, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is cookies, caramel malts and a bit sugary. Flavour is quite much the same along with some doughy and grassy hints.

May 17, 2009 Muddy-looking. Ugh. Vague pale malts. Not much carbonation at all. Herbal hop accents. A weak attempt at a weak concept.

Aug 5, 2008 Clear golden with tiny off white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and mild hoppy notes. Flavor has toasted malt, caramel and hops. Ends bitter.

Aug 17, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF.
Golden brown with good white head. Huge bready malt with lots of toffee and burnt sugar. Odd milky notes. Almost diacetyl in finish but I’ll call it caramel. Not great and not nearly enough hoppage.

Mar 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a medium to deeper and slighlty hazy golden color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of grains and a little doughy. Tastes of grains, dough, and some citrus. Not bad for a Golden/Blond ale.

Jun 1, 2004 Tap@Eel River. Didn’t find in very intersting, just thin grainy malts, like their pale ale, it was easy to drink, but not interesting.
