The nose is toffee, toasted malts and light earthy hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a slight burnt malt coming in at the very end of the finish. Medium body. Meh, nothing to write home about but drinkable. JFGrind (1352), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2009 APPEARANCE: Pours a clear amber color with a large off white dissipates slowly. There is a moderate amount of lacing.
AROMA:
Mild aroma of toasted malts and corn syrup like sweetness.
TASTE:
Not a lot going on here. Lightly toasted malts with a light caramel sweetness. I am also picking up tastes of minerals and soap. A touch of earthy hops.
MOUTHFEEL
Light to medium body with a relatively dry texture. Light fizzy carbonation.
DRINKABILITY:
Easy drinking beer but needs a little more flavor to make it interesting. Also I don’t like the hint of minerals and soap at all.
