Commercial Description:
Our certified organic interpretation of a West Coast Pale Ale. This medium-bodied beer has a hoppy bouquet and a distinctive rich taste with a caramel-like sweetness that is balanced with a liberal dose of domestic Centennial and imported East Kent Golding hops. Certified organic, certified good.

Nice dark orange/amber color with a small beige head. Simple aromas of dry malt and caramel. Quite fizzy in feel. Light caramel start. Some vague bitterness in the middle. Fairly dry and bitter finish and linger. Boring is about as good as it gets.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of over ripe fruits, but also light malt notes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fresh fruit as well as light notes of over ripe fruits, leading to lightly bitter finish. OK without being fantastic. Thanks to Papsoe for sharing.

Lightly funky, english yeasty aroma, some apples, sits on top some sweet caramel malt. Nice amber in color. Flat pour. Sour caramel funk grabs you. kind of carbonated. Not good, sorry.

12 oz bottle (has mfg date on case); poured a dark copper colr w/ medium lacey head. Has an earthy carmel malt smell w/ a hint of piney hops. Mouthfeel was rather thin. Tasted of roasted carmel barley w/ a nice lingering hoppy finish - really quite enjoyable. This is my 1st organic beer an I enjoy ambler ales. This is an above average amber ale, very pleasant, not overboard on alcohol content. Reminds me of a very good ESB

12oz bottle-A crimson body with a nice tight off white head and an aroma of roasted malt, metallic, and pale lager. This medium bodied brew comes across with malt, hops, metallic, and again a pale lager. Finishes with some sweetness and caramel. Not the worst amber but not the best.

A very "earthy" taste. Poured a hazy amber with a large tan head. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. The taste is combination of toasted malts, and a caramel -almost butterscotch- sweetness. Palette is unimpressive. After a thin and slightly bitter finish there is a hint of metallic after taste. This is a good beer to bring along on a camping trip.

Bottle. Poured deep amber with foamy white head. Faint hop aroma. Bland taste, thin body uninteresting finish. Not bad, just boring.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a huge sized off white head. Faint aromas of toasted malts and a little earthy. Tastes of toasted malts, a little citrus, and earthy. Thinner body.
