On tap at the brewpub. Dark golden in color, clear, and has an off white head. The smell is hops, slight caramel, some malts, and sweet. The taste is hops, malts, slightly blah.

12oz shorty bottle. Cloudy orange-tan color. Some orange and vanilla in the aroma, in an off or old sort of way. Solid straightforward crisp bitterness, oddly characterless, with a sweet sugary aftertaste. An interesting variation, I’m sure it fares better brewery fresh. As for the bottle, definitely sub par stuff. Soapy, gross sugar syrup aftertaste.

Honey colored pour with a huge 4-finger ivory head. Aroma and flavor also seem to be "off". A bit more of a hop profile than the Butte Creek but this one still is a poor representation of the style. Too much caramel, toffee, and artificial sweetness. Again, possesses an herbal tea quality. Can "old" be used as an adjective because this one tastes as if it was well past its prime. Stay away, stay far away.

Blah...not even close to a pale. Out of balance on all aspects. Very disappointing.

Bottle. Pours a thin hay golden body with a white head. Lightly hoppy floral with citrus and a light pine. Grainy malt, lightly fruity apples vegetables. nothing to write home about.

Pours a hazy pale gold with a small white head. Nose is of hops. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Not as hoppy tasting as many pale ales;quite smooth. Finishes dry, not bitter. Pairs well with chili and corn chips (organically grown, of course).
