Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

Lightly hazed amber color with a tallish, light beige head. Perfumed hops aromas, with mild pine and citrus covered with petunias and ripe fruit. Light dough and grain scents as well. The ripe fruit and touches of alcohol completely take over the nose after a while. Fairly light feel. Light sweet citrus start, bits of toffee and then a big dose of alcohol. Alcohol evident from the middle on and takes all essence of IPA away. I’m seeing IPA but thinking PNW barleywine. Just not into this one.

Pours a deep amber body with a large off-white head. Aroma is sweet, floral, pine and buttery. Flavor is medium sweet, floral, butterscotch and some pine. Medium body, creamy texture. Finishes long and candy like.

12 oz bottle from Oak Tree. Pours an ugly brownish orange with a large whiteish head. Aroma of caramel, bitter citrus rind, and some burnt rubber as well.....meh. Luckily the flavor doesn’t have that burnt rubber aroma noticable in it but the caramel and citrus are easily recognised. Well this isn’t the greatest IPA but on an almost 100 degree day it isn’t half bad.

Poured from tap an amber color with medium sized off-white head. The aroma is light with malt an toasty pine hops. Flavor is also soft with malt, toast, grass, and some citrus and floral notes. Palate is mild bitter with a rather watery mouthfeel. Not the IPA I was looking for. I will skip this one in the future.

Bottle. Pours a clear medium amber with lots of carbonation resulting in a 2 finger rocky head. Nose is pine and sweet malts. Palate is caramel malt upfront with a bitter resin aftertaste. Medium mouth feel and spotty lacing. Not great, but serviceable.

Pours a slightly hazy copper color. Some white head that deminishes but leaves decent lacing. No real aroma but some nutty malt aromas come through. Flavor is some of the same malty, no big hop presence. Kind of lacking there for an ipa. Drinkable but not that great.

Hazy amber in appearance with a thick, rocky white head. Middling citric hop aroma with some sweet caramel malt. Decent malt backbone backs up the onslaught of resinous citric hops. Fairly rich bodied. Not too bad.

Bottle: Deep golden in color with a medium head of medium to large-sized bubbles. The nose shows off citric and floral hops along with caramel. The palate is medium-bodied and dry with the hops and malt balancing out. The flavor is not very concentrated and rather mild just showing off the dryness from the hops.
