Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished off white head. Light fruity, pine and woody aroma. Flavour is the same in an intense mix. Dry and bitter into the finish. Light fruity to citric note into the finish.

Bottle: Poured a nice copper hue with a stoic head of rocky foam. The aroma is almost soapy, fruity to be sure. The beer drinks with a nice smooth palate, full of sweet esthery fruitiness, and a moderately bitter finsh. Soft and enjoyable. (#3385, 4/7/2008)

Hazy copper/amber with a frothy ecru head. Aroma of citrus hops and slight notes of caramel. The hops bitterness dominates the flavor but there is enough caramel sweetness to cut the edge. Decent IPA.

12oz. Bottle: Lightly sweet aroma. Smells of earthy and citrus hops, caramel malts, and some herbs. Poured amber in color with a large, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Full of tiny particles. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Lightly bitter flavor. Tastes of earthy and herbal hops, herbs, and a touch of fruit. Medium body. Average texture. Soft to average carbonation. Herbal finish.

Twist off cap but couldn’t get it off, ouch. Shorter stubby bottle. Yellowish cloudy brown. Ubiquitous IPA aroma of too many hops. Biter initial pastic and processed palate. Preservative hop flavors that cannot be ignored. Worse than green grapefruit rinds. Terrible lingering medicinal bitter finish. Perfect example of this utterly rude style.

Earthy aroma, pours a nice amber copper color. Quite the earthy taste. This taste takes away for the hops and the overall taste of the beer. There’s also a kind of charcoal taste to the beer. An Ipa that’s different, but not better.

Bottle. Pours clear warm amber with a big and lacy pale yellow head. Citrus-dominated nose, just a little resinous. Light body and carbonation. Lightly sweet citrus and caramel taste, lots of pine in the finish, maybe a little earth. Not too bad, but this one seems to be working with a somewhat limited hop range.
