Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

I guess i have came to expect more out of the IPAs that i drink and most just are not delivering. Pours out a cloudy coppery color with a meduim off white head. aroma is grainy with some hops to it. Flavor was thin and weak. not much hops to it. My wife liked this beer and she hates all beers that taste like anything but water. Doesnt say much for this beer.

Biscuity caramelized nose with a very slight touch of earthy hops. Sweet and malt forward palate with a slightly astringent bitterness.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is malt, wheat, some fruity, some floral. Taste is malt, wheat, some fruity, some floral/bitter/earthy (English?) hops, an unpleasant plastic/slick character.

mystery 2.o Pour had a huge fluffy head.Grapefruit and grass nose. Waiting to taste this, the head is not going anywhere, waiting.....As the minutes tick by, the head leaves whipped peaks. No lie here, 15 minutes later, the taste is a very earhty, piney slightly hot (%) IPA here, nice.

Hazy amber, rocky head, pretty good lacing and retention. Aroma is interesting as it’s somewhat buttery. Floral, grapefruit hops are there, but are limited. Caramel backing, leading to a fairly sweet finish. Kinda bland.

Slightly dusty aroma, but it’s mostly citrus and caramel. Clear amber color with a respectable off-white head that laced minimally. Medium body with chewy carbonation. The flavor is citrus and arguably somewhat roasted malts. The flavor is strong, developing some floral aspects. The finish is dry, and wonderfully bitter. Well worth the effort to raise the arm.

An interesting IPA. Pretty standard pour. Citrus, hops, caramel malt, and with bready grain, earthiness, and floral notes. It was pretty decent, but wasnt great.

Not quite as much fun as the Big Sky IPA I just had, but it’s quality nevertheless. Again, nicely balanced, partly sweet, but not as elaborate in flavor and a bit more watery, so it’s a notch down. Comes out par for the style (3.8, of course).
