Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

bottle... poured a honey tone with a thin white head. Quite a bit of malt on the nose for an IPA. Flavors of grainy hops up front with additional tastes of melon, caramel, malt, and mildly bitter finish.

The aroma is a nice balance of citrus and pine accented hops and smooth caramel malt. The body is nearly caramel in color itself with a dark orange tinge to it and a lasting, thumb thick, white head. The fore is very caramel heavy and that gives it an almost warm, round feel like a well sucked on caramel candy. Light citrus hops compliment the base malt flavors. It’s pretty basic as far as flavor range, but it’s well made and has no off flavors.

Light copper, with big head. Lots of carbonation. Deep malt aroma matched with hops. The taste is the opposite of a "clean" IPA....very murky and mixed. A good amount of roasted malt for an IPA. Balanced by plenty of bitter hops. This does not come together well at all...

Brewed with whole cone hops says the label on the beer bottle. Definitely possesses a noticeable caramel presence. Malty, hoppy and quite yummy. Here’s an IPA for IPA drinkers.

12 oz. bottle. Slightly cloudy deep amber color. Not much head on the pour, and no lacing. A tart initial citrus bite that doesn’t expand or carry to the back of the tongue, although the hops do reappear to attack the back of the throat. A fairly nondescript IPA. For a better organic IPA, check Fish Tale Organic IPA.

Slightly hazy amber. Buttered toast nose. Toasty, earthy palate. Moderate bitterness, limited hop expressiveness. I shrug my shoulders.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear darkish orange color. Head was one finger high and off white with good retention and lacing. The aroma and flavor are malt dominated. Lots of burnt toffee and caramel with a touch of fruit. Dry and moderately bitter on the tongue. Resiny hops come out as well, but are not center stage.

Very light citrus aroma. Golden brown body with a huge head. Medium palate. Sweet flavor up front is quickly replaced by a ncie bitterness and a slight funky taste. Not a bad organic.
