Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

Copper pour, some floaties, decent, lasting head. Lots of floral, with some bready aftertaste, hops are subdued, alcohol is well hidden, abit mild, but pretty well rounded, enjoyable drink!

Dark syrup and fruit aroma with overtones of toasted/sugared coconut. Just foggy, but mostly clear medium brown-red, big clingy and spongy head, California potato-masher micro bottle, twistoff. Quickly-dissipating chainmail foam which coats the side of the glass when you swirl it -- cool effect. Nicely hopped, good balance. Moderately sweet, toasted sunflower/sesame/pumpkin seed taste over the pale malts. Leaning viscous, hearty carbonation, finishes out with a growing orange pith bitter.

Bottle from BevMo. Pours a light amber/brownish color. Rich sweet candy like aroma, sort of like caramel and nuget. Fairly bitter with a little bit of a richness to it. Grapefruit peel finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Enjoyable.

Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Deep, dark orange pour with a fluffy, creamy slightly off-white head. Rich aroma of chocolate, some spruce and citrus. Chewy caramelly flavor with some chocolate accents, constrained (thankfully) west coast grapefruity hoppiness and some nectarines. Thick, creamy mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation. Does not have that "organic" funkiness to it. Very decent. ABV hidden well.

Large, dark tan head, excellent retention with a thin, coating lace. Very hazy, orange colored brew. Flowery, fresh hop nose, spicey, pine and fruity citrus notes. Body is medium, lightly oily with a soft carbonation. Medium sweet caramel maltiness, grassy hops, a touch oniony, light mango and orange citrusy notes. Finish is lightly sweet but balanced with an assertive bitterness. Nice little quaff. Procured in a trade with my favorite left coast connection, Cliff! Thank you SDbruboy!!

12oz bottle. Nice orange – copper color with creamy off white head. Fairly light aroma of piney hops and a hint of malts. Very nice pine hop bitterness and a bit of the sweeter pine hop flavor. Plus caramel malts to attempt to balance the hops. But the hops win out. The best organic beer I’ve had to date.

The aroma has nice caramel and lightly toasted malt with pine and citrus hops. The appearance is deep amber with s slight haze and a larger than average head. The flavor is full of discord. On the one hand we have great caramel malt and on the other soap and chemical bitterness (I was expecting citrus or pine). The palate is thin but a little sticky; long bitter finish. This one falls a few tenths of a point in my overall rating because the bitter element is astringent and soapy.

dark yellow pour thick white head some lacing. Well hopped aroma almost oily by scent floral and citrus w/ a small carmel back. Lighly oily well coated smooth and lightly creamy palate. Flavor is light and easy to drink no real lingering bitterness mostly carmel balanced against a floral hop and a touch of grass. Nice.
