Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

12oz bottle via trade with cbkschubert! - Thanks Craig! - Pours amber slightly cloudy with a nice creamy tan head that stays quite well and laces in layers. Aromas of grapefruit hops over toasted and caramel malts with some grassy hops there as well. Flavor is lots of peach and apricot with a touch of grapefruit. Some caramel malts in the background. Quite a bit of carbonation in this one.. How come all organic beers lack what it takes to be great?

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a very light head. Very light lacing. Light carbonation. Has a light grassy, bready aroma. Flavor is much of the same. Very light esters. Medium body. I don’t think this "Certified Organic" BS makes much of a difference in taste or aroma. Unless you are a tree huggin’ and/or tofu eatin’ sucker. Worth a try.

12 oz bottle, via beerguy101. Pours a dark copper, mostly clear, under a small off-white head. Light sediment in bottle. Aroma is of light toasted and caramel malts with a small dose of piney hops. Flavor is fairly light as well with a thin malt base and moderate bitterness. Finish is short with a citric and iced tea hoppy foinish. Mouthfeel is fairly thin with alot of fizzy carbonation. Slightly creamy in texture. A middle of the road IPA, not worth seeking out unless you’re into the organic thing.

Deep amber with moderate carbonation. More malt than I’d expect for an IPA, but still quite nice. Coffee and licorice with some berry on the nose. Starts with a dark flavor, moving sweeter and milder malt; a bit of hop bitterness. Ends with strong malt character and leaves a nice hop bitterness.

12oz bottle from Bev Mo La Mesa. Pours a medium golden orange color. Head was white and bailed somewhat quikly. Nose of hops and some citrus. The initial bite was nice, but the finish was a litttle weak.

12oz. bottle. Medium orange-amber color with a small creamy white head. Grassy fresh hop aromatics with deep tones of citric sweetness. Fresh hop flavor, some floral soapiness as well. Some muted caramel malt flavors in the finish with some residual grassy herbal hoppiness. Mouthfeel is light medium, fairly dry.

This was the first certified organic beer which I really enjoyed. Far better than any of the Wolaver’s beers I’ve had. The body was a semi-cloudy orange-brown with a fluffy off-white head. The aroma was sweet, of apricots, and maybe a little peach. Mouthfeel was medium full, with some syrupyness about the malts and hops which gave way to a really pleasant smooth, mildly sweet finish.

12 oz Bottle: Pours a nice amber color with a thick fluffy hazelnut head and some serious carbonation. GRass heavy on the nose, also some serious lemon, citrus, and malts. Underneath the main aromas are some glue, almost some coffee and alcohol as well. The flavors are sharp and quick. I don’t think much lingers on my tounge. Starts out sweet, but only for a brief moment then lemony, bitter and a strange aftertaste I don’t care for. I want to say the finish is hops, but not a type I care for. Might not be hops at all though, tastes dusty to me. Sweetens a little as it warms and is quite nice dispite the lacking of hops most expect with an IPA.
