| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Appearance: Pours a yellowish amber gold with a dense fluffy 1/4 inch head. The body is clear with visible active carbonation.
Aroma: Bready European dry malts, bready yeast and a small scent of honey.
Taste: Dry bready flavors (biscuit and bread crust) and mildly bitter hops.
Mouthfeel: Thin and a little creamy.
Overall: Tastes like a Kolsch-style or even a pilsner, definitely not an IPA, and definitely not a California IPA that is marked with 7.2% abv. keepersj12 (808), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2009 12oz bottle from Orland Park Binny’s single rack. Pours copper with small white head. Aroma is sweet malt, hops, citrus and light pine. Flavor is mostly sweet malts with some hop bitterness. No real burst of citrus or pine but they are there. Not a real good IPA flavorwise but still a decent ale in general. travita (1937), Frisco, Texas, USA

The smell is a weird hop smell, fruits, pine, some alcohol, and caramel. The taste is a decent bitterness, pine, caramel, citrus, and floral. Not my favorite IPA. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Bottle. Moderate malt notes of roasted and caramel, orange for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with hints of date and honey. Head is average size, frothy, off-white, with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, oily with a lively carbonation. This wasn’t an in your face IPA, but everything about it was tasty and easy to drink. And it’s organic, so it’s good and good for you! kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2009 12 oz bottle via Hagen. Pours a clear amber with an average beige head. Nose is citrus and herbal. Taste is orange, orange peel, pine, coriander, iced tea. Too heavy on the cystal malts...This seems more like an east coast ipa in style. Body is light and it is a bit on the watery side. Not much here. next... thirdeye11 (551), Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 6, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours amber and opaque. There is a really muted smell for me, toasted grain, piney hops, and caramel. The taste is the same, but not as good. Good carbonation and mildly enjoyable.
