Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

Bottle… Lightly hazy golden ale with an orange tint and little to no head. The aroma is floral and perfumey with small gobs of caramel and toffee. Full-bodied and moderately creamy with tingly carbonation. Leans slightly toward the bitter side of balance. Toffee, then grapefruit rind. Lengthy, moderately bitter finish.

Nicely priced for a bomber of organic beer. The body is rich copper with a pillow like light khaki head. Smells are earthy with almonds and light citrus hops. There is also a little bit of raisin bread. The taste is initially dry with some nicely sugared sweet grapefruit in the mouth while drinking. The finish has a little bit of hay and almonds. I like this one as it is a little unique and not an over the top citrus bomb.

Bottle. Deep gold and amber with a small head. Aromas are toffee with spices. Yeasty and woody with oranges. Flavours are dry and yeasty with decent pine bitterness. Decent.

Tasting at a beerfest [Disclaimer: This was tasted along with many, many other beers during a tasting at Julios. Some of the details are a little hazy]. Found to be a bit on the thin side.

Well-balanced and blended IPA. Some bitterness and hops as appropriate for the style, but not so much as to beat you over the head with. Fairly tasty and organic to boot!
