Nice bouquet of floral hops, lightly earthy with a noticeable citrus linger. Sweet caramel medium body lightly chewy with berry and citrus notes. Decent, maybe my favorite from these guys. forsides (80), union, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 26, 2009 The bottle poured brassy amber with an inch of orange hued tan head, holds fair then mild lacing. Nice citrus nose with a bit of bubble gum. It’s got good ipa bitters, balanced maltiness. I think it’s a nice find. Eel River is new to my retailer and so far they seem pretty solid. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2009 Bottle poured into my Sam Adams glass produced a good finger worth of lace on top of a clear amber colored body.
Aromas of citrus and pine hops overwhelm my nose; yes this is from the west coast.
Flavors are the same as the nose really nice hoppy bitter. Light oily in my mouth with a crisp dry finish
A good west coast IPA easy to drink and went down well watching the game.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Bottle from Liquor Collection. Pours dark apricot with a below average sized head. Aroma of sweet orange marmalade, peach, and a touch of plastic. Flavor has milk chocolate, sweet caramel, canned fruit, and some toasted notes. Kind of unusual, and not entirely attractive. I’d take a hoppy IPA over this anyday. anders37 (4760), Malmö, Sweden

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Bottle. Copper/orange color with a durable off white head. Aroma is musty hops with a touch of apple. The flavor starts a bit sweet and caramely with just a bit of hop spiciness. Not a bad IPA but its got a really dry, dusty finish.
