Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

Bottle. Pours a copper amber body with a light off white head. Nice bouquet of floral hops, lightly earthy with a noticeable citrus linger. Sweet caramel medium body lightly chewy with berry and citrus notes. Decent, maybe my favorite from these guys.

The bottle poured brassy amber with an inch of orange hued tan head, holds fair then mild lacing. Nice citrus nose with a bit of bubble gum. It’s got good ipa bitters, balanced maltiness. I think it’s a nice find. Eel River is new to my retailer and so far they seem pretty solid.

Bottle poured into my Sam Adams glass produced a good finger worth of lace on top of a clear amber colored body. Aromas of citrus and pine hops overwhelm my nose; yes this is from the west coast. Flavors are the same as the nose really nice hoppy bitter. Light oily in my mouth with a crisp dry finish A good west coast IPA easy to drink and went down well watching the game.

Bottle from Liquor Collection. Pours dark apricot with a below average sized head. Aroma of sweet orange marmalade, peach, and a touch of plastic. Flavor has milk chocolate, sweet caramel, canned fruit, and some toasted notes. Kind of unusual, and not entirely attractive. I’d take a hoppy IPA over this anyday.

Poured a light caramel color, with a sweet hoppy aroma. Kept a nice lacing on the edge. The carbonation was well balanced, and the mouthfeel was incredible!

Bottle. Copper/orange color with a durable off white head. Aroma is musty hops with a touch of apple. The flavor starts a bit sweet and caramely with just a bit of hop spiciness. Not a bad IPA but its got a really dry, dusty finish.
