Commercial Description:
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

Wonderful, hoppy, chewy (malty), and very floral. This is a wonderful beer, I wish it was lower in alcohol so I could drink more. One terrific brew.

12oz brown bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a hazy amber-red body with a half inch or so of off-white head. Orange, grapefruit, and pith hit you over the head in the aroma, very pleasing and expected. Tastes like caramel malt with an equal parts orange and pith to balance it out. Full slightly slick body with surprisingly little carbonation. Clean on the finish, despite the lack of carbonation - this beer stops well short of viscosity, which helps. A solid IPA for sure, plenty of hops without losing a sense of balance. Good stuff.

Pours a copper/brass color with some cloudiness. Moderate off-white head which leaves light lacing. Nose of yeasts with a slight grassyness. Complex taste with notes of fruit, especially strawberry/blackberry, wood, malt, and hop. Finish is very hoppy and tastily bitter as is typical of a good IPA.

Bottle. Red copper gold highlight, transparent, thick creamy white top. Might have been sitting for \days in the fridge. Smells like a double w/ caramel, butter, and blueberries. Tastes like a double, caramel, nuts, light rum, and brown sugar, light bitter mid point, lasting after taste, light body, smooth great summer beer.

Found a sixpack of this in a little mom & pop store along the "Avenue of the Giants" in the redwood forest of northern CA. From a 12-oz. bottle, this pours a clear ruby-amber with a nice initial, off-white head. Good lacing. Fairly strong malty & citrusy aroma. Good caramelly malt base with a nice whack of hops in the foreground as well. Some fruitiness shines through. Lingering hoppy follow-through. The hops are different than the usual northwest cascade variety; quite refreshing. Lovely beer.

Ok was in the local health food store when I noticed they had some beers in a small section of the refridgerator..mainly Butte creek and Wolavers..but they had some from this brewer to..so too good of an oppertunity for a BA rater to pass up in the basket a 12 oz single went. When poured the beer has a nice good looking IPA orangy colour with some minimal haziness..large pure white head..that shrinks to a great lace effect. Very good spicy, hoppy , zesty IPA aroma again well done! MM very smooth and sweet for a start..can taste some good malts then mid-tongue the zesty hop bitterness shows through..it ends sweet again then leaves a wonderful aftertaste. Great feel on the palate dopes all the right things for an IPA. A very very drinkable IPA..i thoughroughly enjoyed this and its Organic ..wonders never cease.

Bottle from Saarlander via Mystery Swap 2.0. Turbid deep orangy pour with 2-finger off-white head and great, long-lasting lacing. The aroma is big tangerine, pineapple, mango, orange marmalade, hops, and bready malt. Complex, well balanced palate, with flavor notes of breadt caramel malt, tangerine, orange zest, pineapple, and some berry finishing notes. I liked this one a lot.

Has a rich woodsy flavor that stays with you throughout the nose and peak of the beer. It’s actually a pretty good IPA.
