| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2007 While the nose is restrained, it contains roasted caramel/toffee malts, and chocolate notes. The flavors, chocolate, coffee, nuts, and toffee are pronounced. Tad thin-bodied, but overall a very nice brew. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2007 Pouring a clear dark brown, this has a modest tan head. The aroma contains lightly roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, and soft nuts. Seemed a bit thin yet delivers a rich malty flavor balanced by a mildly bitter nuttiness. Pretty good.

This is a nice dessert beer. VERY choclatey. Not bad, but certainly not Guinness. I’ll probably have it again. I’d sure like to try it on tap..... hellbilly (1544), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 26, 2007 This porter is lighter than most which easy to enjoy more than just one.
