[12oz Bottle - 99 Bottles] Dark brown color with a light head. The aroma was very nice. I liked the malt balance and the chocolate and toffee flavors. This was thick and very good. Not as good as some say it should be. I have had better. A very rich flavorful brew.

Bottle: Rich mahogany pour with a thich tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is strong of roasted malt and some chocolate. Taste is rich with roasted malt, chocolate, a bit of coffee, and a nice little hops bitter in the tail. Way better than I expected based on previous organic brews.

Sweet, stewed prunes/concord grape and creosote aroma. Clear, dark, garnet-brown. The label looks like some kind of instrument of torture. Nice and smooth, but tangy at the same time. Raisinettes and coffee flavor. Chalky, medium body. The beer loses CO2 rather quickly. Good, but not really all that complex.

Spicey coffee aroma; hint of chocolate. Dark brown color with a moderate tan head. Starts with coffee, freshens with carbonation, hint of acidity, finishes with toasted malt, coffee, and a bit of balancing hop. Nice aftertaste.

Tallahassee, Fl, - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Medium brownish red pour - kind of light for a porter, slight off-white head. Earthy aroma with hints of day old coffee and potting soil. Same essence carries over to the flavor with hints of unsweetened chocolate thrown in there. Hints of hoppiness in the back end with some fruity accents. Mouthfeel is a tad thinner than the way I usually like my Porters. Finishes with some organic funkiiness. Decent and drinkable and drinkable though - not a bad choice for my 100th Porter.

Bottle thanks to NachlamSie. Pours dark amber with shallow cream-colored head. The aroma is spicy with quite a bit of coffee. The flavor is also surprisingly roasty with cold coffee tones, some cocoa, and some burning wood. Not too interesting, but still pretty good.

bottle. Pours a dark ruby red with a tan head. Nice, complete porter aroma of coffee, baking chocolate, hazelnuts, and a bit of ashiness. The flavor is really weird. These elements noted in the aroma come together in a strange fashion that creates a flavor similar to buttermilk. Now, it’s really not all that bad, not great, but not bad. Just think putting a little buttermilk in a cup of coffee, not so bad, is it? There is adequate roasted coffee, toast, and chocolate presence to make the brew tasty. The finish is predominantly of a hazelnut-type flavor. Decent.
