Dark brown with a modest tan head and some lacings. Aroma is coffee and some cocoa. Taste is dark roast coffee with a good amount of hop bitterness. Overall a very well balanced porter. Lip-smackin’ good.

Pours a dark brown colour, nearly black with dark reddish tints. Excellent brown head, noticeable lacing aorund the glass. Aroma is sweet, and coffee like with toffee. Mouthfeel is creamy, full and smooth. Flavors again of chocolate covered espresso beans, butterscotch and chocolate milk. tastey beer!!

12 oz bottle from John’s Market - Has a very roasted grain aroma to it. Tastes much like it smells with a nice coffee sweetness to it. This is a pretty good porter. It’s a bit like a nice cup of coffee on a cold ski weekend.

12oz bottle. The pour is a very dark brown with some red highlights. The head is a thin layer of off-white cream and some spotty lacing. The aroma is quite roasty with some nice chocolate notes. The flavor is sweet dark chocolate up front, but the hop bitterness and the roast clean up the finish. Overall a very pleasent, easy-drinking porter.

12 oz bottle-pours a big rich light brown head that laces and black color. Aroma is sweet rich/roasty dark malt-toffee, smoky, secondary dark fruit-raisin. Taste is sweet rich/roasty dark malt-toffee/chocolate, smoky, secondary dark fruit-raisin, then some metallic hops bitterness. Full body. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.

This was thin for a porter but a very good thin porter. It was full of roasted nut and a nice malt backbone. I enjoyed this once for the balance. It was porter that was OK to drink in the summer. Hmmm.

Brown color with a taller foamy light mocha head that diminishes fairly quickly. Whole grain toast and hints of chocolate in the aromas. I’m catching old coffee grounds also. Thin, lifeless feel. Dark caramel start. Some dark chocolate in the middle along with some green beans. Metallic and dry in the finish. Underwhelmed.
