It’s fairly dry with only a mild sweetness in the background. Wheat and spice aromas are joined by a modest funk in the nose. Dry on the palate, and fairly light bodied. Medium straw color, somewhat hazy, but pretty clear for a hefeweizen, and thus the very large, quickly rising carbonation bubbles are readily visible. White head is small on the pour and fades to a broken sheen quickly. I like the spice, but otherwise, a very ordinary hefeweizen. joet (1705), Fulton, California, USA
