22 oz bomber purchased from Canal’s Hainesport. Pours a deep dark brownish/black with a large foamy super light beige head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, slight hint of alcohol, dark fruits dipped in rum. Medium to fuller bodied with just a touch of alcohol and a good dose of carbonation. Flavor of chocolate, dark fruit, molasses, a good amount of roastiness yet smooth. Solid Impy stout but I have had better.

bomber from the cheese man! thanks! typical RIS pour, very black, nice tan head. Aroma is ALL roasted malt, some smoke, and a touch of dark roasted soy sauce. Flavour is super roasty, with touches of coffee, chocolate, and lots of roasty smokiness. NOt a bad impy at all, i love how roasty it is, and you dont get smacked over the head with hops.

Bottle, from Cary Whole Foods. Good aroma. Sweet with roasty notes. A yeasty nuttiness, milk chocolate, coffee, little viney and peaty. Dark brown color, good head that faded slowly with nice lacing. Bittersweet flavor, like aroma though it has a more baking chocolate flavor than milk chocolate, little sulpur thing in there. Medium body, smooth oily mouthfeel, bitterdry finish. Alright, it had moments, palate was my favorite part. That’s kind of sad actually.
