| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2007 22oz bottle via trade with kenb - Poured black with a nice tan head good chocolate, coffee, and some roasted malts in the nose but also enough piney hops to let you know they were there. Flavor is quite roasty in the fore, that gives way to some chocolate in the middle, a hint of coffee, and some dark fruits before the somewhat bitter finish. Good carbonation and full body give this a great mouthfeel.. Very nice beer for number 2100 jrob21 (1275), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Big roasted, smoked malt aromas. Bittersweet chocolate flavors. Slight alcohol ever so faint on the back end. Slight sugar sweetness as well. Pretty good one. jrmac (213), USA

Aroma of chocolate, brandy and black cherry. Flavor of dark, roasted malt, plum, and chocolate. Just enough hops to balance the flavor. Easy drinkng for a beer of 9.5%.
