29/10 0.5 l bottle, courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with medium sized head. Dust and hay in its aroma, raw malts, typical for most pale lagers. Boring. Sweetish and slightly corny sourish flavor, some egg side flavor as well. Not totally bad though. Thinner in body with sweetish finish. Almost complete absence of hops in this one, boring and forgettable, however, I wasn’t so disgusted as my friend was.

Cute 0.5l bottle brewed at the United Serbian Breweries Zaječar plant, courtesy of an acquaintance who brought it from Belgrade (thanks a lot Mili!), shared with heavy. Poured a quite pale shiny yellowish body with a medium sized, very thick, chalky white head that subsided at a medium pace but left a thin film over the surface that lasted really long. The nose is very dusty, not in a good way, some odd, kinda unpleasant sticky malty notes show over a dry, maybe a bit eggy grainy background. Some veggies too. Complex in a bad way. Watery taste, smooth but messy, the metallic and eggy off notes can easily be detected over some fruity notes that might be corn, some slightly acidic hopiness that ranges from appley to herbal, not too bitter carries all of that. All of that smooths itself out in the end and gets forgotten as soon as it slips into the stomach. Nah, not my type of pale lager but I guess usable on a binge or something.

Canned. Pale golden color with white head. Grainy aroma. For surprise, I felt some hops in malty flavor. Much better than regular efes.

Bottle. A clear, pale yellowish beer under a small, white head. Grainy and fruity nose, not very pleasant. The flavor has sweet grainy malts and some fruityness, but I miss the bitterness. Sort of no finish, and a thin, watery mouthfeel. For a beer that’s not off, this is bad. Well, the taste isn’t just awful, it’s more like it’s boring the crap out of me. 090720

Can. Bright coppery gold with relatively stable head. Mild aroma is not bad. Corn and cereal. Not offensive at all. Same with the flavors--totally inoffensive but bland, sweet grain. Decent thin palate is not too sticky. It’s a decent swill!

Golden with a thin head. Basic grainy aroma, maybe with light acetaldehyde. Cleanish taste, maybe with light tartness. Still grainy and swillish, but with a touch more bitterness than most. Altogether inoffensive.
