gary07734 (166), Tyne & Wear, England Jul 10, 2008 0.33l bottle, standard lager pour, look, smell, not much flavour, mild hops, sharp metallic finish.
I’m not a lager-hater, but I did not ike this one, much better bog standard lagers out there.
j_b (756), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 20, 2008 Mushrooms, butter in nose. Very light palate, some hops but they disappear. Okay. MrAleman (112), guildford, Surrey, England Sep 20, 2008 This just shows you can get good, quality lager in this World! Good, clean, crisp and nice tasting. Ron (751), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 18, 2008 Got my Turkey rating. Aroma of sweet malts and maybe something that went sour. Golden yellow in color with a small white head. Some sweet malts and citrus in flavor aong with something that was a bit off. sir_Pino (588), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Sep 17, 2008 No 566
Bottle brown, 330 ml, 11 P
Appearance: Pours pale yellow with some strange elements floating in the body texture, looks very wattery, carbonation of the body is low and saturation is moderate to weak, head is greyish white, rocky to fizzy, initially small to medium slowly decreasing to a minimal froth floating on the body surface, what is surprising is quite nice rim of lacing around the glass.
Aroma: Burned plastic, rubber, diacetyl, rice, rye, gentle touch of thin grains, cereal, notes of gentle lemon and some light strawy not of hop origin though very low, dusty and papery.
Flavour: Wattery front, slight saltyness and rust, alcoholic in a moderate way, slightly on the verge of being a Malt Liquor with its 5% abv. Clear Pale Lager, gentle touch of cereal grains, rice and barley. Finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is gentle to moderate, finish feel is balanced between saltyness on the side of the tongue and additional sweetness on the front and tip of the tongue.
douglas88 (831), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Sep 13, 2008 Bottle thanks to mmm///beer. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is full of grasses, some sweet malts, honey and some floral hops. A very clean flavor, oddly though I can detect a good bit of alcohol. Crisp malts, some apples and floral hops. A fairly dry finish. Somewhat fruity and a decent flavor. Not bad.
