Lightly pale golden with a giant, bubbly and frothy, white head. Fair duration. Aroma is lightly buttery with some slight grassy hops and maltiness. High carbonation, fair, frothy mouthfeel. Flavour is quite buttery as well, slightly crisp, but with a firm, grassy and bitter finish. Okay. gnoff (2831), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 14, 2008 (Bottle at GFB, 2008) On June 13, 2008 BB 29-07-08 Extreme gushing. Slight shady straw color, small white head. Sweet scent with some chemical off-flavor. Thin , sweet, chemical and sharp bitter taste. Thin body, sharp bitterness. Jukkabro (2394), Tampere, Finland Nov 8, 2007 Dark yellow colored, little white head. Lively carbonation. Nice buttery czech aroma with fruity hops. Thin to medium bodied, rather watery flavor in start. Still butterness and hops dominate, lemon also there with medium carbonation. Some drying cardboard in aftertaste. pivnizub (3900), Porúří, Germany Oct 21, 2007 Bottle: Golden coloured, firm medium-sized head with a little lace, visible carbonation, moderate malt accented aroma: sweet-malt with an almost caramelly touch and a tinge of unfermented fresh wort, shy hops in the wings; solid sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, good malty base detectable; sweet-malt and aromatic hops in the slightly lingering finish. Very good, very tasty Desitka !
P.S. When I read the impressions of my esteemed co-raters, I guess I got a 12° with a wrong label on the bottle............ Quack-Duck (1905), Bodensee, Germany May 27, 2007 bitter-weet, the flavours are not bad for a desítka, although it is a bit watery. Still a good 10° beer.
