A lovely black beer, with maltiness and a little roasted malt or soot. Fine balanced mouth feel, even if it ends up a little thin and watery. A bock version of this would be lovely!

Draught: Pour a black color with tan head. The aroma is roasted malt. Taste starts sour with a almost metal hint, but finished warm and sweet with roasted malt notes. Very interesting throught.

Von Fass at the BierBörse in Bonn. Served in "eine Stiefel" which is the most interessting to say about this watery schwarz.

500ml bottle: poured a very dark brown with a medium light beige head. Possibly the darkest schwarzbier I have seen. Moderate metallic aroma after the first pour which gives way to a mostly pleasant roasty aroma. More metal notes in the flavor however, with some roasted malt. Fairly dry. Mild bitter finish. Pretty good.

Clear dark brown color, tan head. Grainy, a bit sweet, malty scent. Grainy, sweet, slight roasted taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
