Bottle. Poured a slightly cloudy brown with a nice off-white head. Fruity aroma with a malt background. The flavor followed much the same. Sweet throughout. Light body and crisp. Decent.

May 11, 2008 Pours a dark hazy brown color. Aromas of bread, malt, and some fruit. Flavor has a touch of sweet malt and clove, I think. Overall, not to bad.

Jul 2, 2007 500ml bottle: poured brownish with orange and a thick fluffly beige head. Very little aroma in my glass, subdued by the head. Once the head dissipated, a bit of banana esters come through with some hops. Very mild fruitiness in the flavor. Light banana. No vinegar in my bottle. Light sweetness in the finish. Okay but not great.

Jan 21, 2005 Updated: Jan 24, 2005Bottle. Sweet fruity aroma primarily banana, apple and clove but also vinegar. Medium brown color- cloudy with little head. Vinegar malt flavor - slight hops but the usual fruit and spice notes of a Weizen are absent. Body but on the watery side. A very different Weizen. Two different bottles were significantly different - first one had much more vinegar aroma and flavor - thought it might have been infected but second bottle while lighter still had noticeable vinegar aroma and taste.

Sep 1, 2004 Cloudy oak brown colour. Some estery notes in the aroma, with hints of malt and licorice. Sweet and sour flavour, with some bitterness and becoming rather sharp. As Rauchbier notes, there is a definite metallic edge on the finish. Overall, not bad though. 500ml bottle from beersofeurope.co.uk. BBE 31 August 2004.
