From tap in the brewery’s Biergarten. Red-brow amber with a dense head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and syrup. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of syrup, roasted malt, light coffee and the overall impression is somewhat disturbed by an unbalanced grapefruit in the finish.

Nov 13, 2007 Bottle (as Braun’s Eichhörnla - "Little brown squirrel"): Clear, amber coloured, huge loose slowly diminishing off-white to brownish head, sweet dark-malty, slightly toasted nose with a light fruity touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; sweet-darkmalty finish with a light fruitiness. Quite decent brew.......

Sep 2, 2007 Draft. An amber beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with notes of caramel: The flavor is sweet mlaty with strong notes of caramel, as well as a light touch of alcohol.

Apr 10, 2007 Draught @ Brewery in Forchheim. Clear amber color with a avetage fizzy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, toffee, roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Nov 19, 2006 (On tap) Beautiful, clear orangey brown with a creamy, beige head leaving laces. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of burned caramel. Lightly hoppy finish. Nice all right. 121106
