From tap in the brewery’s Biergarten. The aroma is slightly malty and a bit boring. The flavour has a light sweetness with light notes of malt and caramel and a slightly dry and hoppy bitterness. OK, but very average.

Draft. A dark orange beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light dusty note. The flavor is sweet malty with a light dusty and citrusy hoppy note, leading to a dry bitter and flowery finish.

Draught @ Brewery in Forchheim. Clear yellow / golden color with a average fizzy good lacing mostly lasting white head. Aroma is moderate malty, butter. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Very nice .. ;o))

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving laces. Floral, hoppy nose. Medium-bodied with sweet malt accents and then again lots of floral - almost perfumy - notes. Not sticky in any way though. A lightly hoppy finish. Very delicate. 121106

Bottle (from Vogel’s Forchheim): Golden coloured, slightly hazy, thin stable foamy layer; faint sweet-malty aroma combined with a big herbal to floral hoppiness (almost brithish ;-)); robust bitter-sweet flavour, soft carbonation; crisp, sweet and floral-bitter finish. A perfect, moreish, aromatic thirst-quencher !
