Bottle from Super Saver. Pale gold pour with white head. Aroma of hopcitrus, grainy lemongrassy malt, some thiols. The flavor was grainy pale malt, with some citrus and hop hints.

This was an alright pils. Biscuity, almost like a waffle aroma, with some slightly spicy hop pervading in their as well. At least it has a really clean flavor to it.

Small white head disappears, leaving thin film. Yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Strong aroma of grass and straw, very harmonic. Taste is deep, earthy vaguely metallic, again with straw and grass. Clearly a lot of hops in this. Quite unusual, but has the Einbecker signature profile. Bitterish, grassy aftertaste. A good pilsener. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottled. Refreshingly hoppy, but a bit on the watery side. Very nice bitter finish - a thirst-quencher

(Tap) Pours golden with lasting white head. OK for a pilsner, but nothing special. Light body, but lacks balanced taste.

On tap at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen, RBESG Pub Crawl, August 2005. Pale gold colour. An entirely serviceable, but forgettable German pils. More malt than hops. Could use more bite on the finish.
