Oct 26, 2009 Light golden pour topped by a frothy short lived head. Caramel, pear, honey, alcohol and white port on the nose. Sweet and short in the mouth. Light to medium body watery/syrupy mouth feel and soft carbonation. Not terribly exiting, but definitely drinkable.

Appearance: Deep gold color with a foamy, white head. Decent head retention and spotty lacing.
Aroma: Malty with notes of caramel, bread, some nuttiness, and some floral notes.
Flavor: Sweet with malt, light toasted notes, a bit of sharp bitterness from the hops. The alcohol is fairly prominent.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium-short, slightly bitter finish.
Overall: Nothing spectacular but fairly solid. I wouldn’t mind a little less alcohol bite.

Oct 15, 2009 Bottle. Light brown color with a foamy white head.
Quite nice malty aroma with hints of caramel, apricot, peas and some bread.
The taste was sweeter than the smell, if one can say that something smells sweet. A little fruity, and there were a lot of malt. Bitterness was decent, the aftertaste was not that long.

Oct 4, 2009 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a thin white head over a dark golden (SRM 6-7), clear body.....nose is malty cereal (Grapenuts) with a bit of hop spice....taste is heavy with lightly roasted malts, dry throughout, mild hop bittering at the finish.....mouth feel is medium, and carbonation adds to the richness. Not my favorite style, but this is a very nice representation of it.

Sep 23, 2009 Gold/amber with a thick white head. Grainy, slightly metallic malt nose. Sweet, grassy malt with a lightly bitter finish. Eh. Not bad.

Sep 23, 2009 330 ml bottle. Nice, dark golden body with a diminishing white head. Aroma is grainy with hints of malt. Flavor is rather light malty, sweet and a balanced bitterness. Medium body and a metallic bitter aftertaste.

Aug 27, 2009 Pours medium peachy amber with a 1 finger foamy white head that has decent retention. Aroma is toasted bread, toasted malt, hints of old apples, light nutty notes, light caramel, some grass and floral hops. Flavor is caramel, hay, sweet malt, grass, toasted grain, charred marshmallow, a little herbal bitterness and some metallic notes toward the finish. Palate is light to medium body, slick feel and medium carbonation. Pretty mediocre stuff, has a few off notes that really hold it back, also leaves my teeth feeling "rubbery" as a pop containing phosphoric acid would, which I am not a big fan of.
