Malty on the nose with some perfumy and flowery hops. The alcohol is present, but do not disturb me. Flavour is a bit sweet and peppery (the alcohol again) with good malty notes ( especially in the finish) . Godd bitterness. Good beer alobar (1032), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2008 11.2 oz. bottle on 2/03/2008. Clear gold, medium white head settling to a thin veil in a few minutes. Light toffee and honey aroma, distant floral character also noted. Smooth, medium body with medium carbonation, slightly sugary mouthfeel. Gently sweet as it hits the tongue, with soft bitterness gradually coming on, but still finishes slightly sweet. This really is pretty decent, not too sweet, easily drinkable and enjoyable. dkachur (2418), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
