Maybe ½ a year more. This Mai is better (and softer) than normal bocks. Coming! yespr (12407), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2007 This beer has a nice malty bready quality to it, but also had a straightforward approach. It didn’t quite have the complexity I like, but it did have a refreshing quality, with a very very slight hoppy nose. mansquito (839), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Off-white head with a straight amber color. Mild, malts in the aroma. Not very complex taste, but it has a little bit of bite. Some bitterness but not much. Some toast in there as well. If I didn’t have these in my fridge now I probably wouldn’t drink it again. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Bottle: Pours orange with white head. Sweet doughy malts in the aroma, along with a honey/toasted bread character. Simple. Creamy body with mild carbonation. Upfront there’s a sweet/sour dough character from the malt. A hint of bread crust comes through with a peppery alcohol middle. The finish is vacant, only has a very late grassy bitterness. A boring, unappealing Bock beer.
