Tap at Ginger Man. Pale golden beer, thin white head. Light malty aroma, honey and apricot with a soft breadiness as well. There is the faintest suggestion of noble hops. Flavour is very clean with sweet pale malt, apricot/peach and fresh bready malts. A simple, but tasty maibock.

(Draught) Pours light copper brown with a white stable head. Very fudge like malt aroma with notes of toffee and caramel. Hoppy undertones of subtle flowers, grass and herbs. Small hints of something earthy and spicy. Maybe some clove hints. Solid malt flavour with notes of toffee, fudge and caramel. Grass is up front hop wise. Biting afterbitterness with a light dryness. Lingering aftertaste of toffee with a numbing spiciness on your palate. A lot of buttery maltiness and funky herbs, but still very fresh. A good bock.

Bottle. The smell of bread, heavy hoppy, grass and light cheese. Orange body with a large white head (good lacing). Strong flavour, some bitterness, average duration. Medium body on the palate, dry, soft carbonation with a light alcoholic finish. the finish is overall a little bit to bitter

Pours a clear amber with a caramel/hop aroma. Big malt flavor with some caramel sweetness and a surprisingly strong hop finish. Clean and refreshing without being uninteresting, it exceeded my expectations.

Nice colour but not much aroma and terribly bitter after taste that kills the overall flavour.

Bottle. Firm lightly tanned head over clear golden brown body. Dry malts and bread, and a distinct grassy hop aroma. Taste is quite simple, but well balanced; nice dryish malts, with a pleasant and prominent hopbitterness. Medium body. Lingering bitter end. Enjoyable.

Event: Junedale Beer Klub - April Beer Tasting (Maibocks)
Serving: 11.2 oz bottles (6.5% ABV) shared by kovu.

Tasting Notes
Aroma: Not very much is evident in the arma except some very light caramel and light hops.
Appearance: Pours a transparent light orange/dark golden color. It has an expanding foamy beige head that slowly diminishes and leaves some light lacing.
Flavor: Light caramel malt, and mild to moderate noble/spicy bitterness (more evident in the finish).
Palate: Somewhat light-bodied with a smooth, creamy palate due to the mild carbonation comprised of fine/tiny bubbles.
Overall: .

(Bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of grassiness, metallic, and caramel. Flavor of caramel, mild hops, and alcohol burn in the finish; bit sticky in the mouthfeel.
