Aroma is sweet malts but with a skunkness thanks to the green bottle. Flavor is strong malts but that’s about it. Goes down very thick and cloying. I have been waiting to try this for a long time and all i can say is MEH. Its neither good or bad and it gets some points off for bring $10 a six, thankfully i just bought a single. darkerdabetter (255), Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 6, 2006 Copper color, very prevalent caramel sweetness, but also a very prevalant bitter/skunkiness finish that I didn’t care too much for. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 5, 2006 Big malty aromas, likewise in taste. Fairly sweet, lots of caramel (without balancing hops). Mouthfeel is a bit to sweet and cloying for me. JK (2962), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 28, 2006 A blond bock. Very light carmel aroma, but not really the standard bock aroma. Flavor is a pleasant and unusual combination of sweet malt and bitter hops. Overall this works well. Medium body. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2006 green bottle and the initial aroma was just a bit skunky. rusty orange in color with a fast fading head. flavor starts out with some roasted maltiness, caramel and some toffee in the middle with a dry hoppy finish. just an average bock. thanks to Saarlander for the bottle. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 10, 2006 Pour is a nice dark clear copper with a white frothy head that sticks around. A doughy malt nose. Very lively carbonation in the glass. A smooth refreshing taste - lightly roasted malts with a bit of toffee / caramel flavor. A tangy finish, but not sour or bitter - everything about this beer seems smooth. Head sticks around and gives nice lacing on the glass. A very nice laid back beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2006 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear, orangeish gold with a big white head. Lots of carbonation bubbles racing to the top. Sweet, malty, complex nose, with a slight cookie dough like tinge (never smelled that in a beer before). Some herbal and floral notes, along with a touch of light caramel. I was initially taken aback with the initial sweet caramel-honeylike flavor, but it mellowed into a nice, well balanced maltiness. Lightly bitter finish. Really nice mouthfeel, a bit of stickiness is the only detractor.
