| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Bottle: Light amber coloured, long lasting rocky head, beautiful big nose: honey and floral, fresh hops, small hints of alcohol in the back; taste dominated by aromatic hops, shy maltiness in the beginning, long lasting herbal, floral aromatic hoppiness in the aftertaste; very well balanced - a really good one, compared to many of bubble-gum-like Maibocks ! obxdude10 (1562), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA

Faint lemon notes with flour & very light brown sugar. Big malt/bock thing going on up front them maple, alcohol. Awsome body. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2005 Amber on the pour. Decent head with lacing. Aroma is malt and spice. Flavor is very malty and some yeast. A hint of spice abounds. On the palate it is medium body and caramel. It has a little bit of bitterness that I didn’t exactly like. This beer was a disappointment as I was looking forward to my first bock of the spring and this one wasn’t what I hoped it would be. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA
