Sampled as part of BJCP certification training session as a "Tradiitional Bock" example. Copper appearance, decent head. Aroma malty. Flavor also of malt, a bit of toast, and a bit of bitterness from hops on the finish, but still quite sweet to my tastes. Nothing wrong here, just not my bag.

Pours hazy amber-brown with a one-finger head. Light toasted caramel aroma. Malty-sweet flavor with a touch of drying roastiness on the finish. Surprisingly creamy mouthfeel.

Hay and armpit aroma. Tea colored, clear, with a medium sudsy head. A little watery, but nice caramel malt flavor. Green bottle skunk that is far from complimentary. Probably better from the keg, but this was lousy.
