Lots of flavour, more malt than hops, but well balanced. Warming alcohol in the background and finish. A fine beer. UselessGdTaste (363), Long Beach, California, USA

The taste is deeply malty supported by strong Noble-hops, surprisingly full-on for such a bock! Good dry (and long) finish, too. Don’t be fooled by the bottle & lable, this is an excellent bock. Pours clear orange/red with a thin and dense khaki head. Served a bit too chilled, but pleasant aromas of malt, caramel, marzipan and cookies reveals after a while. Taste is medium sweet and dominated by a strong malt base, fortunately with a proper hopbitterness to balance the flavors. Full body. Soft mouthfeel. Nice and lingering bitter finish. A lovely bock enjoyed in a perfect environment. Gmoney (259), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA
