May 16, 2007 Bottle. A sweet smell, a little bit of lemonade and liqueur (in a positive way...). The colour of the body is red-orange with a white head which has a good lacing. The initial flavour is strong and a little bit bitter/dark, the finish is quite long. The body is medium, the texture is rather oily with a soft carbonation.
This one is a strong Ur-Bock, not something for the mass consumption but one of the best Bockbiere.

May 10, 2007 Pourd a lean brown with a thin frothy light tan head. The aroma was fairly nonsubstantial. Tad sour and corny, some hops. The flavor was a bit sour, with a tart bitter. The palate was smooth with some light carbonation. Not very impressive.

May 9, 2007 Bottle, 33 cl. Clear copper, medium fluffy off-white head. Intense roasted, nutty malt aroma, with earthy dusty notes. Medium bodied and smooth, with lively but discrete carbonation. Initially a bit sweet, but ends dry and bitter, with well integrated alcohol.

May 6, 2007 Grainy aroma followed by multiple sweet, malty flavors make this an above-average, enjoyable beer. Nothing outstanding in appearance: Fizzy head that diminishes quickly atop an amber body. Robust aroma of grain, nuts and caramel. Flavor is even more robust, mostly sweet and mildly bitter. Average carbonation, comfortable palate. Medium body. Very nice.
