In my opinion, this is what a bock should be in the taste. Nice malt flavor that comes to the front with a slight bite at the end that is short. Leaves a good mouthfeel after swallowed. Good beer.

This is a very tasty Dunkel. A pungent aroma of malt and hops with a delicately balanced flavor. The mouthfeel is also good. I will buy more of this in the future.

My disclamer first. I don’t usually drink Bocks. Now, this is a good looking beer, lite chesnut. Didn’t hold a head. The nose is a Munich Malt and honey. Feels nice on the palate. A well balanced bitterness and sweet malt combination. Finishes dry. I like it, it’s not what i’m used to drinking.

12.09.2009, 0,33l Bottle. Colour is amber brown. Its not especially dunkel. Aroma is malty with bitter hops. There is a strange taste to this beer. Its grassy or something. Gets much better after a while. Nice bitter aftertaste. ྪ.02.2004, 0,33l Bottle. Mørk og fyldig bokkøl. Ølet smaker godt med et fint malt og humlepreg. Også bitterheten er bra. Alkoholen står bra til fylden og resultatet er et fyldig og god bokkøl)

Had at a sampling from a bottle. Wasn’t bad, but it was too light in color and too sweet for the style.

off-white shortlived foam, golden amberish transparent liquid. Aroma of toffee, cognac. Filling. Sweet, bitter alcoholic, finshes quite abrubtly with a faint bitterness remaining on the sides of the tongue.

Medium brown with a slight orange tint and a tall, thick, creamy head. Aroma of amber, caramel malts and hops. A bit sweet. Thick, creamy, slightly roasted flavor with caramel. Sweet but not overly so; decent alcohol and hops to balance it. Dry finish of alcohol and some hop; little remaining sweetness. A nicely balanced dubbelbock.

8 Aug 2009. Golden, head retracting quite quick. I think it is a bit too sweet.
