Pours into a snifter a deep amber. Very malty and barnyard in the nose. Very tinny taste with bitter finish.

Dark red/gold color. Faint head, decent lacing. Quiet sweet, has bitterness. Very thin liquid feel in mouth. Easy enough to drink.

Rotting cabbage aroma, color was that of a half of a nice dark bock mixed with half a glass of water, flavor was a combo of the first two descriptions, mouthfeel was watery, and overall it sucked.

Pours a dark amber color. Aromas of dark malts, fruit, and a touch of smoke. Roasty malt flavor that bitters towards the end.

In the bottle at the Huber Haus. Smooth and light for such a dark beer. Aroma and flavor is of mild roasted barley, but I wouldn’t call this "robust." Color is a dark amber with a white head. It’s a good thing that there’s a low level of hops here, as the photosensitivity is beginning to emerge in my bottle.

33 cl. Bottle. No yeast in bottom. Amber colour with a rich head. Malty aroma with hints of caramel and toffee. Very tasty and malty beer with notes of roastedness and some hops, ends up dry and nice.
