Full on malty aroma, but the flavour is a lot sharper and more refreshing than the aroma would suggest. Hops balance out the roast malt and caramel elements. Rather good.

A mid brown coloured beer with a nice off white head. The aroma is sweet and quite alcoholic. It smells a little fusty and aged. The taste has rich, buttery alcohol and lots of sweet malts. Big bodied. A little cloying but intruigingly tasty. harrisoni (6800), Ashford, Kent, England
