Oct 7, 2005 Bottle, St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Ruddy brown colour. Generous head. Full on malty aroma, but the flavour is a lot sharper and more refreshing than the aroma would suggest. Hops balance out the roast malt and caramel elements. Rather good.

Oct 3, 2005 Updated: Mar 26, 2007Bottled - St Albans BF. A mid brown coloured beer with a nice off white head. The aroma is sweet and quite alcoholic. It smells a little fusty and aged. The taste has rich, buttery alcohol and lots of sweet malts. Big bodied. A little cloying but intruigingly tasty.
