| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2009 Pours a clear orange with a big loose head. The aroma is heavily sweet and malty with tons of caramel and some toasty bread with a faint nuttiness. The flavor is very caramel sweet and is nicely balanced with noble hops providing a very mild bitterness. The classic German graininess is very well featured and I quite like that. This has everything to love about the flavor of good German Pilsner with the malt cranked up to 11. GranvilleTim (520), Granville, Illinois, USA
