Bottle. Pours a hazy golden-amber with a small white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Malt/bread notes in the background, which become more outspoken as it warms. Also develops wooden, dusty, slight cereal and remote grainy notes. Sweet, malty flavour with wooden notes. Remote metallic notes. Bitter, malty finish. Slight notes of apple lingering. Decent, but nothing special. 09-02-09.

12/3/08 From the bottle. Aroma is malt forward, munich roast with some creamy sweetness and low but noticeable noble hop flora. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet candilike malt forward with an almost orangey character and very low earthy bittering. Mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with a moderate carb texture and light syrupy character. Overall, a great beer for people that like candilike character, but no to the point where you can’t have more than one.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear amber with an initial 3 finger off white head that faded into a stubborn iceberg. Nose is sweet malt and light fruity hops. Taste is sweet caramel and toffee with some grassy hops in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Easy drinker.
