Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of derDoppelbock and Bov. It pours a pale golden beer with a decent head. Sweet malty aroma and taste. The alcohol is quite apparent. Aftertaste of onion. I am not a big fan of the style. Thanks derDoppelbock!

clear yellow, thick white smooth head. very mild sligthly hay aroma, a little sweetness too. flavor is sweet, mild malty, slightly bitter. alc well hidden. faint honey, quite a distinct flavor i don’t remember tasting before. very sweet actually, but sweetness hidden behind alc. and bitter hops.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep gold with a small white head. Nose has sweet malt, some floral notes, and some alcohol. Low carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. The alcohol is the first thing I noticed followed by the sweetness of the malt. The mild hop bitterness helps, but this beer still seems out of balance. The finish lingers with a bit of bitterness on the tongue. Drinkable, but middle of the road at best.

No 639 Rated 19 12 2008 Bottle green, 330 ml, Appearance pours very nice, shiny, deep golden, essential, crystal clear body, carbonation of the body is mild, saturation is rather weak, head is initially small, constantly decreasing and finally even completely diminishing and what lasts is the small crown around the beer glass, head is foamy, white and giving gentle lacing, Aroma front denotes some non sophisticated, rather old, kind of unfresh and boring hops, than there is an aroma of cooked potatoes and gentle alcohol hiding at the background, you can notice pure seasonal grains of barley and rather kind of not particulary interesting to me dull sweet background, Flavour front is lively accidic, mineral and alcoholic, than it becomes more and more salty, accidic or even sour on palate, some harshness and stronger and stronger bitterness towards finish which becomes dry, notes of bread and bread skin, reminding me of some natural Eastern European Kvass, flour, highly aromatic and strong harshness towards finish with vinegar woody touch, finish duration is medium, Palate body is medium, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is quite high, finish feel is dry, strongly accidic what creates a nice balance with its sweet heavy aroma at front

Golden colour and clear, has a white head, medium lasting. Pure malty aroma, sweet. Flavor starts heavy sweet and finish moderate bitter. Oily texture. Soft carbonation. The alcohol is a bit unpleasent.
