Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma has grainy malt with caramel sweetness and a herbal presence. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma, grainy malt, herbs, caramel sweetness. The palate is mostly light and boring.

Bottle. Pours a yellow colour with a withe head. The nose is mostly about the hops. A bit thin. Flavour is dry with hops and the alcohol gives it a warming touch. Good bitterness. The mai-bock is a bit better than this one, but still a good bock.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a dense white head. Solid caramel malty aroma, light presence of alcohol. Dense fruity malt and alcohol flavour. Light peppery note. Ends with a light peppery to spiced flavour, lingering almost fruity malty and with a light warming alcohol feel.

bottle. Golden with solid head. Malt sweetness, fruit, caramel. Well balanced and assertive, this is a nice bock. Hope my lagering homebrewed bock will turn out this nicely.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Fine head for a bock. Tastes very spicy and strong, not alcoholic. That’s the way a good bock has to taste! Well done!

Bottle at home. Pale golden with a white head, nice lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Almost medium body. It’s more like a pilsener and missing the sweet creamy touch.
