Bottled. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mainly hoppy. Flavour is hops, malts, xylitol and soap. Strong alcohol coming through in the flavour too, more like a malt liquor or European Strong Lager in my opinion.

Got this one bottled at the Binny’s Oktoberfest in St. Charles, Illinois. Light yellow pour with a thin, white head, nice flowery nose but a bit too average throughout. I don’t know, I think I was just dissapointed.

Bottle. Rather pale yellow with mostly diminishing white head. Plesant aroma of malts, hops and some fruitiness. Flavor nicely bitter with a little sweetness. Creamy on the palate. Average finish with a nice bitterness.

Clear pale yellow with little white film head. Mild aroma, mostly with malty sweetness. Taste is sweet at first, then turns very flowery bitter.

Head is just thin white film; body greenish yellow with faint carbonation. Dense caramelly earthy malt aroma with some hops. Taste is deep, hoppy malts with notes of straw, grain, and earth. Smooth, faintly oily mouthfeel. Dry, earthy aftertaste. Quite unusual, but once you acquire a taste for it, it’s nice. (Served way too cold at Cardinal in Stavanger in 0.33l bottle. Rerated at bock festival.)

Light bronze color, copact, off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet honey flavour balanced by hop bitterness, noticeable alcohol burnt. Medium-light body.

Bottled (BB 09/2006). Clear golden color, decent white head. Aroma of grains and corn. This is like sophisticated European strong lager: good malt profile (chewy), grassy hops and warming alcoholic aftertaste. Nice, balanced, just need to rerate slighlty freshier version someday.
