Golden color, big creamy head. Soft Zatec hops and just a hint of orange in the aroma. Fruity (orange) flavor with a fair deal of hops coming up almost immediately. Soft, but with a good hoppy bite. Good quality pilsener.

half decent czeck pils, yes, a little bit cheap and nasty in comparison with other czeck pils, but it was still OK, i picked up a spice in it aswell eczematic (ginger?), and it was malty at first and then bitter on the finish, in the end, i thought it was quite well balanced without being exceptional.

This was far better than I expected - quite a creamy mouthfeel with a nice underlying bitterness. The finish isn’t the best. Still drinkable.

I enjoyed this - clean, crisp, light and refreshing with enough gentle malt to lift it and give it some interest. I didn’t find any unpleasant notes or cheap nasty flavours.

Bottled. Gold, good white head and moderate condition.Good malt and grain aroma with some fine hoppiness. Malty in the mouth but quite thin with some gentle hop flavour. Shortish finish with slight hop bitterness dominating. Not bad, just not as good as Urquell or Budvar.

Bottle purchased from the TRC Hotel in Launceston Tasmania. Clear honey-gold, moderate white head with weak retention. Faintly corn syrup, faintly green stemmy aroma. same on the palate. Pretty average overall.

Cheap, sugary malt snout. Foaming dark gold pour. Really ratcheting up the bitterness units on top of a Bud Ice (?!), but in a not entirely pleasant way. At least Bud ice doesn’t attempt to taste of anything. ’Distinctive hop character’?? I don’t think so. Chemically bitter and metallic. Some strange, butterscotchy caramel flavours inappropriate to the style. Which is anonymous 40c tinned Europils. Ok, it’s growing on me a bit.
