Wish I could find a place to get some more. Top shelf beer smooth, strong hint of chocolate with a caramel finish . A world class beer to say the least. I tried it also with the Defumada which was also good but this was wonderful. it was definitely to my particular taste. A higher score from then most. Skyview (4022), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 31, 2007 Bottled, Batch 36. Poured clear, deep reddish-brown with a swirly dustin gand a light ring of off-white head. The aroma picked up a nice blend of sweeter chocolate, drawn caramel, and molasses.. a little smoke as an accent piece. The flavor was quite similar and equally enjoyable.. sweet, smoke-accented chocolate and molasses at the core with toasted grains and caramel extending toward the edges.. not much bitterness at all.. sweet, dry finish. Light-medium bodied on the palate and very sweet (but well done).. the dry finish was rather refreshing. Good stuff! Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
