Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, khaki colored head, some lacing. Sweet aroma - some chocolate, raisins, hints of molasses. Flavor is quite full-bodied - some pipe tobacco, raisins, caramel, cola. Good rib sticking Dunkel. Thick enough mouthfeel. Color me slightly impressed.

Bottle. Pours iwht a fairly dark color and a small head. Nice aromas of grain and malts. Flavors of grain, caramel and malts. Has the charcateristic German lager flavor, nicely done like all the beers I had from this brewery. This beer works well with Mexican dishes I might add.

Batch 36. Poured a clear deep brown color with a thin off-white head. Light roast with a hint of coffee and mild sweetness make up the aroma. The flavor was of roasted malt and a hint of caramel. Crisp clean finish. Big side of a light body.

Bottle from State Line. Very deep brown pour with minimal khaki head. Aroma is dark malt, Wheaties, figs...very intense aroma. Tastes dark malty, with grainy cereal notes, plus figs, late hops, raisins, nuts, and a medium palate heft. This one is liquid Wheaties in a glass.

12oz bottle. Weak notes of chocolate malts. Clear dark brown body with small off-white head. Palate is medium-light bodied. Too weak and unbalanced.
