Mar 17, 2008 3/15/08 - Mystery pack from D’s courtesy/shared with Naka. Pours black with amber hues, small fizzy, khaki head. Nose is sweet caramel, biscuit and chocolate, touch of roast. Surprisingly not bad. Nice caramel and chocolate flavor, a bit watery with dry, crisp finish. Not bad.

Jan 25, 2008 Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Pours a nice burnt brownish black. Smells like banana, chocolate, and nuts. Flavor echoes the nose, with a hint of smoke.

Apr 25, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small ring of tan lacing. Aroma is of malt, chocolate, smoke, and caramel. Taste is of very lightly toasted malt, sweet chocolate, a hint of smoke, and the slightest bit of caramel. Body is very light and has decent carbonation. Mouthfeel is fizzy, but slightly watery. It’s very drinkable, but the characters are all very subdued if not nonexistent. I’m on the fence with this one.

Aug 11, 2007 Bottle, August 07, thanks mazfln! Pours a clear, trasluscent, very dark brown color with red-burgundy hues and a medium, frothy cremé head.
Caramel aroma, some bready malts and a slight vinegary feeling. Toasty, caramel malts flavor. Very malty, sweet but retains it´s hedge with an interesting nutty-acidic end. Medium mouthfeel, firm malts and a warming, nutty aftertaste. A slightly sweet dunkel that manages to keep itself interesting enough.

Apr 27, 2007 Bottle of 355 ml. Nice Black Beer... I think that was the best I could test here in Brasil, his flavor is like a caramel and coffe together and the aroma is good..
Cerveja escura e uma das melhores que eu já bebi aqui no Brasil isso se não for a melhor até então. Gosto meio doce e meio amargo, parece uma mistura de café com caramelo.
